TeenLife Media and the Gap Year Association have joined together with the mission to increase the visibility of gap year opportunities among families with high school students, as well as the college counselors and independent consultants who work with them.
TeenLife is known for building greater awareness of all sorts of meaningful experiential learning opportunities for students before they enter college. The GYA is likewise excited to connect with students earlier in their academic pathway, to connect youth with resources on building their own unique gap year.
As the industry leaders in career decision making and teen academic/enrichment experiences, we have teamed up to help students learn more about themselves via the Career Key Discovery Personality Assessment for Students, so they can find "best-fit" summer, school year, and gap experiences that prepare them for success in college and life beyond school.
The Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA) is a professional organization focused exclusively on the practice of independent college admissions consulting. Since 1997, HECA has been dedicated to advancing professional standards for the higher educational consulting field while supporting our members as they expertly guide students through the transition from high school to college.
The Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) is a not-for-profit, international professional association representing experienced independent educational consultants. IECA sponsors professional training institutes, workshops, conferences, and webinars, publishes a directory of qualified independent educational consultants and offers information to students and their families regarding school selection issues.
