Gap Year Programs in Tanzania

Known for its breathtaking national parks, safaris on which the “big five” exotic animals are often spotted, and Kilimanjaro, Tanzania is a beautiful country in East Africa. Volunteers on gap year programs to Tanzania often work on several projects. These projects include teaching and promoting the importance of safe water and good hygiene practices as well as a reforestation project which helps protect the country’s fragile ecosystems. Fun and adventure are part of the program too with a trek through the Southern Highlands. High school and college students are invited to browse the following gap year programs in Tanzania.
